What is Skywarn?
The Amateur Radio hobby is very diverse. Skywarn is a very
special area of public service that allows you to blend your
Amateur Radio operating skills with your knowledge of severe
weather to provide critical real-time observations and damage
assessments to supplement and validate what the National Weather
Service Forecast Office is able to see on their radar and other
weather instruments.
