STARS Membership Information

You must hold a valid license in the Amateur Radio service of Technocoam class or higher to become a member of the Suburban Technical Amateur Radio System and to use the club's repeaters.

To become a member of STARS you must complete the club's membership application and provide a copy of your current amateur radio station license.

Please send your completed membership application, a copy of your Amateur Radio Station License, and a check or money order for $25 to the STARS mailing address shown below or bring them with you to a meeting. You may make cash payments in person, if that is preferred over a check or money order. Membership is subject to the approval of the board. Perspective members are encouraged to have a sponsor and to attend at least one or more meetings.

Membership dues are $25. Membership dues are due June 1st, of each year. You may pay your dues by check, money order, or in cash. Please do not send cash by mail. You may pay your membership dues in person at any meeting or mail them to:
