VHF / UHF Repeaters

STARS owns and operates two coordinated repeaters.

  • Our VHF repeater operates on a frequency of 146.640 MHz with a negative offset of 600 KHz using a PL access tone of 107.2 Hz. The repeater has emergency power and supports Skywarn.

  • Our UHF repeater operates on a frequency of 442.675 MHz with a positive offset of 5 MHz and a PL access tone of 131.8.

Both repeaters are located in Blue Island and use a call sign of W9SRC.

Our next meeting is Friday March 12th, 2010. at 19:30 CST/CDT.

Basic Weather spotter course on March 5th at Hamfesterrs March Meeting.

Advanced Weather spotter course on March 6th at Wheaton College. Please register early and arrive erarly for good seating.

Annual membership dues are do at the June 2010 meeting. The deadlin is the August meeting, if you want your name to apear in the roster given out in September.
