Weekly VHF/UHF Nets

  STARS weekly information net net meets each Sunday evening at 19:00 local time. Check-ins are welcome on both our VHF and UHF repeaters. This net provides general information of interest to club members and perspective members. All amateur radio operators are welcome to participate.
Skywarn Icon STARS weekly Skywarn Net meets each Wednesday night at 19:00 local time. Check-ins are welcome on both our VHF and UHF repeaters. This net meets year round. The objective of this net is to establish a contingent of trained weather spotters, disseminate relevant information, and schedules of upcoming spotter training courses. All amateur radio operators are welcome to participate.

Our next meeting is Friday March 12th, 2010. at 19:30 CST/CDT.

Basic Weather spotter course on March 5th at Hamfesterrs March Meeting.

Advanced Weather spotter course on March 6th at Wheaton College. Please register early and arrive erarly for good seating.

Annual membership dues are do at the June 2010 meeting. The deadlin is the August meeting, if you want your name to apear in the roster given out in September.
