STARS Mission Statement

To encourage experimentation in and the advancement of knowledge in the fields of electronics and amateur radio communication; To own and operate an amateur radio repeater system for the use and enjoyment of its members who are licensed radio amateurs; To be a bona-fide amateur radio society within the meaning of Part 97 of Title 47 of The Code of Federal Regulations, as amended from time to time, and; Provided that no part of the net earnings of the Corporation shall inure to the benefit of any private shareholder or any member of the Corporation.

Our next meeting is Friday March 12th, 2010. at 19:30 CST/CDT.

Basic Weather spotter course on March 5th at Hamfesterrs March Meeting.

Advanced Weather spotter course on March 6th at Wheaton College. Please register early and arrive erarly for good seating.

Annual membership dues are do at the June 2010 meeting. The deadlin is the August meeting, if you want your name to apear in the roster given out in September.
